The local Self-Reliance Resource Centers (Springville, Provo & American Fork) provide services and a storehouse of resources from the LDS Church and the local community. Resources on this site are intended to give leaders, individuals and families a place to find local assistance relative to areas of self-reliance. Stake-Sponsored Self-Reliance Groups

Many LDS Church stakes now offer Self-Reliance groups. Groups are offered at various times throughout the year. Course curriculum is studied in a facilitated group setting once a week for 12-week cycles. Contact your local stake for more information.

Daily group meeting for seasoned professionals. Learn new skills, work on Me-In-30-Seconds, Power Statements, practice your pitch, network with other professionals, set daily and weekly job search goals.

FIND A BETTER JOB - Career Workshop

3-day workshop to prepare participates for their job search. Identifying your marketable skills, creating a Me-In-30-Seconds, Power Statements and assembling an effective resume. Interactive class where participants will share and practice with one another.

EnglishConnect brings together English language learners, instructors, volunteers, and Church leaders to create an English learning program for all of God‘s children. The program includes both face-to-face and online courses that also provide opportunities to learn more about the Church if learners choose to do so.
